Human Wonders

What do you know about
The Classic Seven Wonders
of The World?

The Classic   Seven Wonders of the World were built at different points in time, many years ago. And they were all over the world. In this blog, we're going to talk about my three favorite ones and learn something about the Ancient World.

Statue of Zeus at Olympia

The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
was one of the biggest figure made by the Greeks 430 years BC at the sanctuary of Olympia in Greece. It's was made of plate and gold. This statue represents the ancient god Zeus sitting on his throne. I was destroyed in the 5th century by a fire made by the army of the Roman Emperor Teodosio II.

Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

The Temple of Artemis, also known as the Temple of Diana, was a greek temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It was located in Ephesus. It was destroyed in 401 AD by one of the most dangerous floods in history after being rebuilt three times. It was considered one the most beautiful places in the Ancient Greek.

Mausoleum of Halicarnassus

The Mausoleum At Halicarnassus, also
known as the Tomb of Mau
solus. Was a tomb built between 350 and 353 BC at Halicarnassus. It was part of the Ancient Greek. However, that place is now considered part of Turkey. It was build in honor of one the most irrelevant kings of history, Mausolus, the king of Caria. This human wonder was destroyed by successive earthquakes from the 12th to the 1th century. It was olso the last surviving of the six destroyed wonders of the world. The only Classic Human Wonder that is still alive is The Great Pyramid of Giza.
